A WWE star has stated that it’s their goal to compete in Japan in the coming year, recalling a previous tour in the country.
With Natalya previously noting that 2025 was her favorite year of her career, the veteran WWE star has revealed a new personal target.
Natalya reposted a video recently uploaded to Twitter of Mariko Yoshida and Yumi Fukawa facing off in September 1999, sharing her own memories of facing off against Yoshida.
Hopeful for the opportunity to wrestle in Japan in 2026 as Nattie Neidhart, Natalya wrote:
What an honor it was to share the ring with Mariko Yoshida on my first tour of Japan.
I can’t wait for NATTIE to compete in Japan in 2026 — I’m going to do everything in my power to bring that vision to life.
Natalya notably teamed with Yuka Shiina to face Mariko Yoshida and Atsuko Emoto (Bullfight Sora) for NEO Women’s Pro Wrestling in May 2005.
Her most recent match in Japan took place at a WWE house show in 2017, with Natalya teaming with Tamina, Carmella and Lana against Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Naomi.
