Layla and Michelle McCool at WWE Hall of Fame

Former Divas Champion Layla has now addressed the idea of a potential induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.

One half of LayCool, Layla’s teammate, Michelle McCool, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2025.

With Layla in attendance to see her former teammate receive her Hall of Fame ring, the former WWE star has now responded to a comment calling for her to be honored herself.

With a Twitter user asking where her own Hall of Fame induction is, Layla replied:

“In my dreams 💤💤💋”

Along with being a former Divas Champion, Layla was the final holder of the original WWE Women’s Championship, giving the former star a highly important moment in company history.

While she has not competed since her retirement in 2015, Layla has recently shared her thoughts on a potential LayCool reunion.

The WWE Hall Of Fame Class Of 2026 Grows

With the recent announcement of Sid (who fans may recall by his Justice, Vicious or Sycho name) as the latest inductee in this year’s WWE Hall of Fame, the Class of 2026 reached five individuals and one tag team.

Leading the way for this year’s ceremony is Stephanie McMahon and AJ Styles, with last year’s ceremony seeing three names inducted as individuals.

The celebrity wing will add Dennis Rodman this year, with no member for that category at last year’s ceremony, while Demolition have been announced as a group inductee.

Last year’s posthumous Legacy inductees numbered three members, with Sid and Bad News Brown announced for this year’s Legacy class so far.

Following on from last year’s first-ever Immortal Moment (Bret Hart vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin from WrestleMania 13), WWE has now confirmed that the Class of 2026 will induct Hulk Hogan vs. Andre The Giant from WrestleMania 3.

A future induction for Layla may not be out of the question, either individually or as LayCool, which would give Michelle McCool her second, alongside the likes of Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Booker T, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, X-Pac and, after this year’s ceremony, Andre The Giant.

Hulk Hogan also holds two separate Hall of Fame inductions, with his Class of 2026 membership setting a record with three.

A record-maker in her own right with the aforementioned final original WWE Women’s Championship reign, recognizing her significance primarily in the context of that run has to be worthy of a Hall of Fame induction.
