TNA World Champion Moose has addressed the possibility of him competing in a WWE crossover match, ruling out one potential opponent.

With TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace competing at NXT Battleground, there has been a lot of speculation about future WWE-TNA crossover plans.

During a virtual signing with K&S WrestleFest, Moose questioned whether there’s even anyone on NXT who could defeat him.

Noting that he’d rather face one of WWE’s “top dogs”, Moose said:

“I think NXT, I don’t know if there’s anybody in NXT that is capable of beating me. So for them to make it worth their while, they might want to bring me in to SmackDown or Raw. I’ve beat McIntyre, I’ve beat Bobby Lashley. Am I gonna wrestle (in NXT), Wes Lee? Come on.

“There’s great wrestlers in NXT, don’t get me wrong, but I’ve already beaten the guys there on the main roster, their superstars. I don’t think they would want me to damage the careers of their young puppies. So I think for me, it’s bring me in, let me play with the top dogs. That’s what my mindset is.”

Moose had an interesting response when replying to a pitch for him to face NXT North American Champion Oba Femi, ruling out the possibility of this crossover match.

The TNA World Champion wrote:

I guess we will never find out….I’m not for Nigerian on Nigerian crime

While Oba Femi doesn’t appear to be set for a TNA World Title shot anytime soon, a popular WWE star believes that the powerhouse should win a WWE main roster world title soon.
