‘He’ll Rue The Day’: Danhausen Sends Warning To WWE Champion Cody Rhodes

Danhausen and WWE Champion Cody Rhodes

Danhausen has sent a warning to Cody Rhodes after an incident involving the recently signed WWE star’s merchandise.

Yet to have his debut match since first appearing at Elimination Chamber, Danhausen has spent considerable time cursing his fellow WWE stars.

Narrowly avoiding a curse is Cody Rhodes, who got off with a stern warning after signing Danhausen’s own merch, as shown in a recent video shared on Twitter.

In a post on his own Twitter account, Danhausen discovered the American Nightmare had written on posters of the Very Nice, Very Evil star, saying:

“Yes, Danhausen finally has his top guy autographs in today. So, we’re going to sign some for the fanhausens, make lots of people monies.

“Ehhh. Who wrote on my picture? Who is this? 1/1, no curses. G-S. Who is this?”

With confirmation that the G-S in question was Cody Rhodes – or Cory Rhodes – Danhausen would go on to warn:

“Who’s that? Cory Rhodes! Hey, whose he think he is? He can just do whatever he wants, comes around, signing anybody’s things? Merchandise, that’s what it’s called.

“No curses, absolutely not. He’ll rue the day. No wonder Randy Orton punched him in the head.

“Alright, I gotta go find this guy. He owes me… How much do these cost? He owes me $25, times two, because he ruined them.”

The video would be accompanied by unhappy-looking Danhausen, holding one of the defaced posters, along with a message reading:

“Hello @CodyRhodes, please refrain from writing on Danhausen’s merchandise and destroying its monetary values!!!!!

“🆘🆘🆘 @RandyOrton 🆘🆘🆘”

At the time of writing, neither Rhodes nor Orton has responded to the message from Danhausen.

What To Do With Danhausen

Officially a free agent on the WWE roster, there’s the potential for Danhausen to appear outside of Raw and SmackDown, although he’s yet to head to NXT.

While he is yet to have his first match as a WWE star, his interactions with other members of the roster certainly set out some interesting opportunities for the former AEW star.

Indeed, WrestleTalk has even pitched potential opponents for Danhausen in his in-ring debut, although a date is yet to be revealed for that match.

It’s easy to get caught up in the frenzy of WrestleMania 42 predictions, sticking Danhausen in a match at the two-night PLE, but perhaps he should continue his backstage shenanigans at the time of an event that traditionally brings an end to feuds, cements the top stars scene, and already has a growing card of championship matches.

Whatever form Danhausen’s first match in WWE takes, it’s bound to be one that has fans and critics talking, very much like his debut did at Elimination Chamber when he stepped out of the mysterious wooden crate after weeks of build-up.
