A top WWE star has singled out Brock Lesnar as someone he’d like to eliminate from the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble Match.
On the Wednesday, January 28 episode of The Pat McAfee Show, former 10-time WWE World Champion Brock Lesnar called in to announce that he would be entering the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble Match.
While “The Beast” vowed to win the whole thing, one of his former rivals has publicly stated his intention to throw Lesnar over the top rope this Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
During an appearance on ESPN’s Get Up, Cody Rhodes said Brock Lesnar was the person he’d most like to “get at” among the field for the Men’s Rumble Match:
“I’d like to get Brock Lesnar if I could get anyone.
“I had his last match before he came back and wrestled John Cena. I thought we ended this thing, apparently we did not.”

Both Rhodes and Lesnar are two-time Royal Rumble Match winners, with the “American Nightmare” claiming back-to-back victories in 2023 and 2024, while Lesnar’s wins were spread almost two decades apart in 2003 and 2022.
If either man won the Rumble they would tie Stone Cold Steve Austin’s with three wins overall – a record that has stood for 25 years.
Rhodes and Lesnar engaged in a multi-match feud in 2023, trading wins at that year’s WWE Backlash and Night of Champions PLEs, before Cody earned the decisive win over Brock at SummerSlam 2023.
