A WWE championship title received a new design on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT.
Ethan Page defeated Ricky Saints to become the new NXT North American Champion on NXT back in May, with Page now declaring himself the best North American to hold the North American Championship.
Last week, Ethan announced that he would be hosting a celebration on tonight’s NXT show in Houston, and he didn’t come alone.
Page was in the ring with a new championship under a cloth, with him declaring his pride to be from Canada, and claiming that Canada is better than all other North American countries.
Page would then toss the old North American Championship to the side, before unveiling a new version of the North American Championship with the Canadian flag on the strap.
This ended up bringing out Santino Marella, who is the Director of Authority for TNA, who ended up challenging Page for a title match on next week’s episode of NXT.
