Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has responded to Cody Rhodes saying he wants to “close the loop” on their feud at WrestleMania.
Rhodes will be part of the men’s Elimination Chamber match on Saturday, with the winner challenging McIntyre at Mania.
In an interview with ESPN earlier today, Rhodes stated that he’s hoping to win the Chamber so he can “close the loop” on his feud with McIntyre which has been going on for the past few months.
Upon seeing Rhodes’ comments, McIntyre issued a response of his own, writing:
Close the loop? The loop is closed.
I won. You lost.
Go try and be relevant without the gold.
WWE Elimination Chamber Plans
Joining Rhodes in the men’s Elimination Chamber match will be LA Knight, Randy Orton, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans and Jey Uso.
Bronson Reed was originally planned to be in the match, but plans had to change on the fly to Jey Uso winning their qualifying match with The Original El Grande Americano due to an injury suffered by Reed.
In the women’s Elimination Chamber to determine Jade Cargill’s WrestleMania challenge for the WWE Women’s Title will be Tiffany Stratton, Alexa Bliss, Kiana James, Rhea Ripley, Asuka and Raquel Rodriguez.
