WWE Bloodline Member Replaced Due To Injury

WWE Bloodline members Tonga Loa, Tama Tonga, Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu

To kick off tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, there was a change in the Bloodline team set to participate in a gauntlet match later.

On tonight’s July 26 SmackDown – which was actually taped a week ago – there is set to be a tag team gauntlet match in order to determine who will be next to face the current WWE Tag Team Champions, DIY (Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano).

Originally, the lineup included the Bloodline represented by Tonga Loa and Tama Tonga.

However on tonight’s show, Nick Aldis informed Tonga Loa that he was not cleared to compete given his eye injury apparently sustained during the attack on Cody Rhodes to close last week’s show.

While Aldis suggested the Bloodline would simply be out of the match, instead Solo Sikoa countered and offered that Jacob Fatu replace Tonga Loa in the match. SmackDown GM Nick Aldis agreed to that plan.

The tag team gauntlet match has also been announced to include: Angel & Berto, Baron Corbin & Apollo Crews, Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson), the Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins), the OC (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows), and the aforementioned WWE Bloodline team.
