A major update has emerged regarding the long-awaited WWE debut of Hikuleo, almost a year on from reportedly signing with the company.
Following the arrival of both Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu in WWE throughout the Spring/Summer of 2024, it was reported that former NJPW star Hikuleo had signed with WWE also in July 2024.
While many assumed that the powerhouse would be joining the ranks of Solo Sikoa’s ‘New’ Bloodline group along with Fatu and his siblings Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, that never materialised, neither did reported plans of a debut in WWE NXT.
With no real updates on his status for quite some time, PWInsider Elite is reporting that Hikuleo is slated to be backstage at tomorrow night’s episode of SmackDown in Lexington, Kentucky.
The report did not reveal what WWE’s plans for Hikuleo were on the show, but we will provide further updates if they become available.
Saturday’s Money in the Bank PLE saw major change within Solo Sikoa’s New Bloodline faction as his former enforcer Jacob Fatu turned his back on the once “Tribal Chief”, something that had long been teased on WWE programming.
