WWE’s AJ Styles has reacted to a fan saying that he should retire in AEW ahead of his upcoming retirement in 2026.
AJ Styles noted numerous times in 2025 that he intends on retiring in 2026, with him entering the final months of his WWE career.
AJ will celebrate the 10 year anniversary of his WWE debut later this month following his debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble, and it seems as though he has no interest in leaving the company any time soon.
When one fan noted that they wanted to see one more match between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe before AJ’s retirement, another fan noted that AJ ‘should have ended his career’ in AEW.
AJ responded to the fan, simply saying:
I’ll take dumbest things to ever have been said for 100 Alex.
AJ and Dragon Lee lost the World Tag Team Championship to the Usos on this week’s episode of Raw, with AJ seemingly set for an upcoming match with GUNTHER after GUNTHER retired John Cena back at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington DC on December 13.
