Ahead of its official reveal, Insider Gaming has shared a new report on one of the game’s popular Showcase Mode – which typically focuses on the career of one particular star, rivalry, era or in WWE 2K25’s case family – with The Bloodline featuring as the headliners of 2K25’s offering.

According to Insider Gaming, CM Punk will be the focus of WWE 2K26’s Showcase – with the “Best in the World” narrating the mode, which will reportedly focus on three different sections of matches for players to make their way through.

Players will go back in time and relive some of Punk’s most famous matches from his storied career, as well as play out ‘What If?’ scenarios that could have happened if Punk had not left WWE in 2014, and finally fantasy matches that never happened for one reason or another through Punk’s career.

Punk made his return to WWE video games as a DLC character players could purchase in WWE 2K24, before being included in the base game’s roster of the following year’s game.
