Who Won 30 Minute Ironman Match For IMPACT Knockouts Championship?

Tonight on IMPACT Wrestling, Deonna Purrazzo defended her Knockouts Title in a rematch against Jordynne Grace. Purrazzo defeated Grace in a terrific match at Slammiversary.

The match was billed as a 30-minute Ironman Match. The match took up the final quarter of the show and the two put on another great showing.

The match came down to the final seconds. Both ladies were tied at 1 fall apiece. The champ stole her first fall after hitting Grace with the belt while the ref was down.

In the last minute, Purrazzo locked in an armbar and then followed into a variant submission. With just a few seconds remaining on the clock, Grace tapped out.

Purrazzo retained the title. What’s next for Purrazzo? Kylie Rae could be on the agenda after winning the Knockouts Gauntlet at Slammiversary.

Also on the show, Eddie Edwards defeated Rob Van Dam for the IMPACT World Championship. Eddie has been defending his title in an open challenge.

However, he’s been the one begging for someone to face him. He has been trying to get Eric Young to answer the open challenge after he attacked Rich Swann.

Young has avoided his challenges, but that’s all set to change next week. Eric Young attacked Edwards after his match and announced he would answer the open challenge next week.

Additionally, ECIII cut a tremendous promo in a video package that aired during the show. He vowed to destroy the TNA World Championship which he stole from Moose last week.

"Destroying this title is the only way I'll be free."
