Viewership Down For This Week’s AEW Dynamite

Viewership has been down for a lot of wrestling this week as a result of the NBA and NHL playoffs. As you might expect, AEW Dynamite was no different.

Dave Meltzer reported the viewership figures for the show on Twitter earlier today. Here is the tweet:

“Actual numbers for AEW were 821,000 viewers and 0.28. Full details in the issue tonight.”

The show’s 821,000 average viewers were down 115,000 from last week’s average of 936,000 viewers. Last week’s show featured the TNT Championship match between Miro and Darby Allin.

This week’s show also featured a pair of title matches as the Young Bucks defended the AEW World Tag Team Championship against the Varsity Blonds. Additionally, Serena Deeb defeated Red Velvet to retain the NWA Women’s Championship.

This week’s AEW Dynamite also continued the build to Double or Nothing as they announced the full card for the show and set up more matches.
