Updates On Three WWE Injuries

It’s not been the greatest period for WWE in terms of injuries, with several top stars currently sidelined and/or working through niggling pains. This past weekend, it was reported that three different WWE wrestlers suffered injury scares, and there’s now been an update on the severity of those injuries, courtesy of Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer.

Drew McIntyre was forced to stop his match against Dean Ambrose at a house show in Tulepo, Mississippi, with the referee throwing up the ‘X’ sign. McIntyre had to be helped out, walking with a noticeable limp, however the injury is not believed to be serious. McIntyre then worked a full match the following night against Ambrose again, this time in Montgomery, Alabama. Fingers crossed this isn’t an injury ‘The Scottish Psychopath’ is forced to work through and worsen the condition.

The next two injuries happened at the same time in a match between Mark Andrews and Noam Dar during an NXT UK taping. Andrews was legitimately knocked out in the match, and while there were initially fears of a concussion, all seems well with him. Dar however, doesn’t appear to be so lucky. The Scotsman is believed to have suffered a pretty severe knee injury, however the full extent is not yet known. Examinations on the knee will be taking place once Dar returns to the USA.

WrestleTalk would like to wish a full and speedy recovery to everyone involved with these injuries.
