UPDATE: Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported: “Trinity Fatu is expected to finish up with TNA at the tapings this coming weekend in Orlando, FL. She will then return to WWE.”
There has been an update on Trinity’s (Naomi) TNA Wrestling status amid rumours of an impending WWE return.
It was recently reported that former WWE star Naomi was set to return to the company, possibly as soon as the end of this month.
At the time of the report, Naomi, under the name Trinity, reigned as the TNA Knockouts Champion.
Trinity lost the Knockouts Championship to Jordynne Grace at TNA Hard to Kill on Saturday, as well as taking part in the television tapings the following night, which many believed to be her final dates with TNA.
In an update from PWInsider, Trinity in fact did not finish up with TNA at last night’s tapings, and has several more dates with the company.
In addition to PWInsider’s report, TNA has now shared advertising material for their upcoming tapings in Orlando on January 19 and 20, which features Trinity, seemingly confirming that she will work the tapings in Orlando.
Bayley and Mercedes Mone were both in attendance at Hard to Kill to support Trinity in her championship match on the show.
Total Nonstop Action Wrestling is making a comeback to Orlando, Florida on January 19th and 20th!
