Two WWE stars are set to challenge for a tag team championship in another company after a successful debut match there.
In the latest talent exchange from WWE to Pro Wrestling NOAH, former NXT Tag Team Champions Hank Walker and Tank Ledger had their first NOAH match in Japan today.
At NOAH’s Sunny Voyage show today in Kasukabe, Hank & Tank defeated the team of Alpha Wolf and Dragon Bane.
This has now set up Hank & Tank to challenge for the GHC Tag Team Championship against current champions Masa Kitamiya and Takashi Sugiura at Korakuen Hall on November 8.
In a post-match interview after their win today, Hank & Tank commented on the upcoming title match, saying:
Hank: “Masa, you say that we don’t respect you, but we will show you that we respect these titles at Korakuen Hall.”
Tank: “When we challenge you for the GHC Tag Team Championship. Global Honor Crown. Because we’re more global than you, man we’ve got more honor than you, and we’re coming for those championships at Korakuen Hall.”
Hank & Tank: “Honk Honk!”
