2 Top NJPW Stars Dealing With Injuries

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer is reporting that former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay is dealing with a shoulder injury right now.

Despite returning at the NJPW Road to Castle Attack show on February 14, where he teamed with Jeff Cobb and Great-O-Khan, Will Ospreay is reportedly rehabbing an issue with his right shoulder.

In the latest issue, Dave Meltzer also discussed the injury suffered to former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Tetsuya Naito ahead of his upcoming IWGP Intercontinental Championship match with Kota Ibushi.

Meltzer noted that while Naito had been pulled from some shows after suffering a knee injury during his match on the NJPW Road to Castle Attack show on February 16, he will still challenge Kota Ibushi later this month:

Tetsuya Naito suffered a knee injury in his 2/16 match in Tokyo and will be off some shows, but said he will be wrestling his 2/28 IC title match in Osaka against Kota Ibushi
