Several WWE Stars Praised By Triple H After Royal Rumble 2026

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has addressed the 2026 Royal Rumble matches, stating the show marked a passing of the torch moment.

While established stars Liv Morgan and Roman Reigns won their respective Rumble matches on January 31, both the men’s and women’s matches saw many new stars have impressive showings.

The bouts featured “new” stars in every sense of the word, with Royce Keys (fka AEW’s Powerhouse Hobbs) making his WWE debut in the men’s match, which also was Oba Femi’s first match as a main roster star.

During the Royal Rumble post-show, Triple H welcomed the new era, stating:

“I think this might be one of my favorite Rumbles for a lot of reasons. I think the moment that you see here tonight where Roman Reigns and Liv Morgan winning the Royal Rumble, but in another sense almost a passing of the torch moment for a lot of talent coming in the door.

“Oba Femi, Je’Von, Trick, Royce Keys, Lola Vice, Sol Ruca, Jacy Jayne, Kelani Jordan, Kiana James, Lash Legend right?

“All of those folks coming in here, making a statement, putting the top people on notice that a new era is upon us and the future is bright.”

Highlighting Lash Legend’s performance in the women’s Rumble, Triple H said:

“Very few times do you see women come into that division and be that dominant in a moment and she had a showing that felt almost Kane-ish to me in just standing out and being a woman that when you look at her and think in a year, two years from now, she’s gonna be tearing through the roster.”
