Triple H To Address WWE WrestleMania 40 Kickoff Event On SmackDown

WWE has announced that Triple H will appear on tonight’s episode of SmackDown to address last night’s WrestleMania Kickoff event.

Last night’s WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press event saw a rather explosive ending, when tensions boiled over between Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and The Rock.

Cody Rhodes officially made his decision, deciding to face off with Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40, one year after his crushing defeat in Los Angeles.

The presser ended with The Rock slapping Cody, before leaving with Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman.

Following the presser, WWE has now announced that Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque will make an appearance on tonight’s SmackDown show, where he will address the fallout from last night’s event.

Tonight’s SmackDown will see Raw’s DIY face off with Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne, with the winning team heading to Perth to face the Judgment Day at Elimination Chamber.

Tonight’s show will also feature Bianca Belair taking on Michin in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match.

Seth Rollins has since commented on The Rock’s return to the company for WrestleMania, calling it ‘gross’.
