WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has commented on his executive role in WWE and how it differs from being a wrestler.
The latest ‘TKO Spotlight’ shared on social media was with Triple H, real name Paul Levesque, who is WWE’s CCO, which means he leads the company’s creative and content direction.
Firstly, he spoke about how his experience as a wrestler in WWE for so many years is useful for his current role, saying:
“I’ve been fortunate enough to have been here in WWE for 30 years. I’ve seen changes of the guard, I’ve seen talent come and go, I’ve seen ebbs and flows of the business.
“But I think having been through all of those, having been a key component in the Attitude Era, which many people see as one of the all-time great eras in our business, I’m fortunate that I experienced all of it.
“Early in my career I sort of fell in love with the behind-the-scenes of the business. I was very interested in the creative process to putting the shows together.”

Triple H Comments On Big Change In WWE Role
Levesque then discussed how his current role differs from when he was a talent, as he now has to focus the success of everyone and everything in WWE, instead of just himself.
He added:
“When you’re a WWE Superstar, your focus is singularly on you. When you switch to being an executive, it’s about everybody else.
“Your job goes from being singularly focused to this wide net of everything that you have in front of you.
“And it’s dealing with people. But it’s a lot easier to deal with them when you get to slam them, than it is when you can’t slam them and just have to talk to them.”

Paul Levesque Praises Nick Khan
Triple H then praised WWE President Nick Khan, who leads the business side of the company.
HHH said:
“Nick is the most incredible businessman I’ve ever worked with on a day to day basis. His business sense and acumen and all of that, and his experience, is second to none.
“But he’s also a huge fan of WWE. He sees the things that work and (the things that) don’t.”

Is Triple H Doing A Good Job As WWE CCO?
After taking over as WWE Chief Content Officer, Triple H was widely praised for the creative direction of the company for the first couple of years, largely from 2022 to 2024.
However, the past year or so has seen him come under a lot more scrutiny, with things like the John Cena heel turn, increase in celebrity involvement and more elements of the product being criticized.
Overall, there’s no doubt WWE is in a better place creatively than it was before Triple H took control, but the general consensus is that enthusiasm peaked from 2022 to 2024 and have dipped since then.
