A top WWE star has officially declared for the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble Match, joining former rivals Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes and 27 others.
With WWE talent and staff making their way to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for this Friday’s SmackDown and Saturday’s Royal Rumble 2026 premium live event, we now know of one more major name who’s making the trip.
During the Wednesday, January 28 episode of The Pat McAfee Show, former 10-time WWE World Champion Brock Lesnar called Pat live on the air and announced that he will be entering the 30-man WWE Royal Rumble Match.
Lesnar told McAfee and his co-hosts on the show:
“I’m heading to the Royal Rumble boys, I’m gonna win.”
Lesnar hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since Survivor Series on November 29, 2025, where he teamed with Drew McIntyre and The Vision’s Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Logan Paul in the Men’s WarGames Match against Roman Reigns, The Usos, CM Punk and Cody Rhodes.
“The Beast” has a storied history in Royal Rumble Matches, with Lesnar winning the match in 2003 and 2022, as well as setting the elimination record in a traditional Rumble with 13 participants thrown out in 2020’s match.
