AEW President Tony Khan has commented on Tommaso Ciampa officially signing with AEW on tonight’s Dynamite show.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Tommaso Ciampa’s WWE contract was set to expire, with him opting not to renew his deal, confirming he would be leaving the company.
Yesterday, it was officially confirmed that Ciampa had departed WWE, with him being removed from the company’s roster page.
On tonight’s AEW Dynamite show, Ciampa made his debut for AEW, accepting Mark Briscoe’s open challenge for a TNT Championship match this Saturday on Collision.
Following his debut, it has now been confirmed that Tommaso Ciampa is officially All Elite.
Taking to social media following Ciampa’s debut, AEW President Tony Khan wrote:
He arrived on #AEWDynamite tonight to answer Mark Briscoe’s TNT Title Open Challenge for #AEWCollision this Saturday, and now it’s official: Tommaso Ciampa is ALL ELITE!
Ciampa joins a number of names that have already signed with AEW in 2026, including Jake Doyle (Jake Something), Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz, Myron Reed, Zayda Steel, Mascara Dorada, Persephone, Alec Price and Jordan Oliver.
