Tony D’Angelo has just won the NXT Championship at tonight’s WWE Stand & Deliver 2026 premium live event in St Louis.
The main event of the show saw Joe Hendry put the title on the line against Ethan Page, Ricky Saints and Tony D’Angelo in a four-way match.
It was D’Angelo who came out victorious, winning the NXT Title for the first time and becoming an NXT Grand Slam Champion in the process, having previously held the North American, Tag Team and Heritage Cup Titles.
Vic Joseph on commentary stated after D’Angelo’s win:
“He’s seen everyone he arrived with move on. Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, Trick Williams, the list continues.
“He sat back, he had his family taken from him, he had his life almost destroyed, but he had two goals, two phases, and he completed both of them. What a moment for Tony D’Angelo.”

Hendry had been NXT Champion for 61 days, winning it in February in the seven-man ladder match after Oba Femi vacated the title to move to the WWE main roster.
Future WWE NXT Champions
Tonight’s NXT Championship four-way at WWE Stand & Deliver features the four top names in the NXT men’s division right now, so who else on the roster could grow to that position and become NXT Champion in the future?
With the men’s roster depleted having lost Je’Von Evans, Oba Femi and Trick Williams to the main roster, some names from the other card – or new names thrust into a top position – will have to make the move to the main event scene soon.
In the current landscape, Birthright seems to be a group that NXT is focusing on, and just based on the presentation so far, Lexis King looks to be the leader and the most likely to break out into a top position some time soon – not that the other members wouldn’t be capable of doing the same.
Jackson Drake also comes into NXT as the only former WWE Evolve Champion and has impressed so far, so he’s clearly someone the people in charge have high hopes for.
Shiloh Hill has exceeded so far since his WWE LFG season two win as well, with season one winner Jasper Troy recently forming a bond with the fans after saving Booker T from Keanu Carver, with both Troy and Carver names to look out for as well.
