TNA Wrestling’s Joe Hendry has hinted that he has unfinished business from his run in WWE NXT.
While the TNA World Champion most recently appeared for WWE in January’s Royal Rumble match, Hendry had previously made several appearances for NXT.
Speaking on the Respect the Craft podcast, Hendry noted that while he’s focused on being the best TNA World Champion, he does feel he has some unfinished business with some in NXT.
Commenting on the WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling partnership, Hendry said:
“I’ve put it all out there. You guys know what matches I’m looking for. Again, if you look at my run in NXT, I think there’s unfinished business and history there.
“I’d like to see some of that spill over into TNA Wrestling. But at the end of the day, my job is to be the best champion I can possibly be, and whatever is put in front of me, to do it to the best of my ability.
“It doesn’t matter who the challenger is, whatever the task is. I’ve just gotta do my best.”
Hendry last wrestled for NXT at the 2024 No Mercy PLE, unsuccessfully challenging for Ethan Page’s NXT Championship.
