An interesting update has emerged on The Rock’s schedule ahead of the WWE Raw Netflix premiere episode, amid speculation about a potential appearance.
With the January 6 Raw show set to be the first episode to air live on Netflix, WWE has prepared a stacked card for the upcoming show.
While the likes of Roman Reigns, CM Punk and even John Cena have been confirmed for the event, a notable name who hasn’t officially been confirmed for the show by WWE is The Rock.
Amid speculation about the Final Boss’ potentially appearing on the show, The Rock has now been announced for a Hollywood event the night prior.
The Golden Globes have confirmed that Dwayne Johnson will be presenting an award at the 2025 awards ceremony, which will take place on Sunday night (January 5).
The ceremony will emanate from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. This means that The Rock will definitely be in Los Angeles ahead of the Raw Netflix premiere.
Monday’s WWE Raw episode will take place in the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Los Angeles county.
While WrestleVotes previously reported that The Rock is scheduled to appear on the show, Dave Meltzer noted in his latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that while he expects The Rock to appear, he hasn’t been directly told that the Final Boss will be on the show.
An update recently emerged on The Rock’s status for WrestleMania 41, which you can read more about right here.
The Rock has been confirmed as a presenter for the 2025 Golden Globes on Sunday.
