The Rock’s next appearance following his return during tonight’s WWE Raw Netflix premiere has been confirmed.
After the initial introduction from Triple H, Rock opened tonight’s January 6 show, and was very much not in Final Boss mode.
Instead, he had pleasant words and praise for both Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, ahead of the Tribal Combat match between Reigns and Solo Sikoa.
After Reigns scored the win in that match, Rock came back out to the ring to personally place the Ula Fala wreath around Reigns’ neck to anoint him the true Tribal Chief.
Then, Rock took to social media to document his departure from WWE Raw on Netflix, including the announcement of another appearance.
Rock confirmed that he will be in attendance at tomorrow night’s New Year’s Evil episode of WWE NXT, which takes place at The Shrine in LA.
That show will be headlined by Roxanne Perez defending the NXT Women’s Championship against Giulia, and Trick Williams defending the NXT Championship against both Oba Femi and Eddy Thorpe in a three-way match.
The Rock’s daughter Simone Johnson aka Ava is the on-screen General Manager of NXT.
