Current NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer is confirmed to be dating a fellow WWE star, it has now been confirmed.
The NXT Battleground premium live event takes place tomorrow night, May 25, with Vaquer defending her championship against Jordynne Grace.
The same show will see NXT Champion Oba Femi defend his title against Myles Borne.
In a new interview promoting the show, Vaquer and Femi appeared together, and ahead of his title defense, Femi said:
“I’m looking forward to beating up Stephanie’s boyfriend for a little bit…”
This seems to confirm speculation that emerged online recently that Vaquer and Borne are indeed dating.
Borne has received the biggest push of his WWE NXT tenure over the past three weeks, winning a 25-man battle royal to earn the title shot against Femi.
From their, Borne has opened up in promos for the first time about his partial deafness and how he wants to be an inspirational figure for everyone who struggles with their own disabilities.
Vaquer has been NXT Women’s Champion since early March when she won the title from Giulia at Roadblock.
