Stephanie McMahon has shared her emotional reaction to tonight’s WWE Raw cold open, ahead of the special Netflix premiere episode.
Ahead of the highly anticipated premiere, WWE has shared the cold open video package which will play at the beginning of the show.
The video – which you can watch at this link – detailed the story of wrestling as an industry, and featured a ring canvas being painted with the faces of stars from the past and present.
Stephanie McMahon shared this on Twitter, noting that she cried when she watched the video.
Congratulating everyone involved with Raw on Netflix, the former WWE Chairwoman and co-CEO wrote:
“I’m so proud, I’m crying ❤️ Congratulations Triple H, Nick Khan, all WWE Superstars, fans, employees and crew past and present.
“Tonight, we make history again by becoming the first-ever regularly live streamed program on Netflix.”
The January 6 Raw episode has a stacked card, with several main-event worthy matches taking place.
