As reported by Wrestling Observer Figure Four Online, Bobby Fish returned to NJPW defeating Kevin Blackwood on NJPW Strong: Domination.
After the match, Homicide would attack Fish, starting a feud between both men.
This appearance marks Fish’s first appearance in NJPW since the joint NJPW and ROH shows of 2017.
Having formed the tag team reDRagon in ROH with Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish would go on to compete in New Japan Pro-Wrestling between 2014 and 2016 as a tag team and singles competitor.
Whilst in NJPW, reDRagon would hold the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships twice and be the winner of the 2014 Super Jr. Tag Tournament.
He would then move to WWE NXT in 2017, again initially teaming with O’Reilly before the pair would become The Undisputed Era with Adam Cole and, later, Roderick Strong.
Fish would then appear in MLW before signing a contract with AEW and being announced as “All Elite” on October 6 2021, joining Cole and reforming reDRagon with O’Reilly.
His AEW contract expired in August 2022 and was not renewed.
He recently saw his first victory in professional boxing on the Floyd Mayweather vs Deji undercard, defeating Boateng Prempeh.
