A special appearance has reportedly been discussed for the debut episode of WWE Raw on Netflix on January 6, 2025.
The show is expected to be one of the most buzzworthy WWE shows perhaps of all time, and there are likely to be some special appearances.
One of those special appearances, according to a new report, could come in the form of rapper Travis Scott.
Scott was mentioned on WWE TV as recently as two weeks ago when Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso arrived at SmackDown listening to an unreleased song.
He also appeared alongside WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio at Fanatics Fest NYC in August.
And in addition to those, his song FE!N has been used in promotional videos for WrestleMania 41, which takes place next April.
Now, it’s being reported that he’s been discussed at a “high-level” for an appearance on the Netflix debut of WWE Raw at the start of next year.
On WrestleVotes Radio, the following was reported:
“There have been some preliminary high-level discussions to have rap superstar Travis Scott appear on the first Monday Night Raw on Netflix from Los Angeles on January 6.
“Of course, Scott and the WWE have a strong relationship, as he and Rey Mysterio appeared together at Fanatics Fest this past summer in New York City.
“In addition, WWE will have a presence at the upcoming Complex Con event in Las Vegas, which features Travis Scott among other musical icons.
“It is worth noting that his song FE!N has been used in all the promotional material for Wrestlemania 41, so WWE is looking to go down this route, the route of bringing in some heavy mainstream names for Netflix debut, and they don’t get much bigger in the pop culture world than Travis Scott.”
In addition to Raw debuting in January, a new WWE documentary was recently announced for Netflix as well, which you can read more about at this link.
