WWE’s Shawn Michaels has commented on the future of the ongoing relationship between WWE/NXT and TNA Wrestling.
The relationship between WWE and TNA has hit a new gear in recent months, with Joe Hendry and the Rascalz making regular appearances on NXT television.
The relationship first really got going back in May, when Jordynne Grace was revealed as the challenger for Roxanne Perez’s NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground.
Speaking with WGN Radio, Shawn Michaels discussed the relationship between NXT and TNA, noting that he believes that we are only in the ‘very beginning’ of the partnership.
He said:
“I think we are still in the very beginning stages of that, exploring the different possibilities, and those are all things we’re going to look at going forward. I’m obviously very pleased to know that these are partnerships that WWE is now open to, and I think that makes for unlimited possibilities.
“Now, what the specifics of all of those are as we go into the future, that’ll be decided by people certainly more important than me.”
