Seth Rollins has opened up on what to expect from his upcoming return to the ring against GUNTHER at WWE WrestleMania 42.
Seth Rollins has officially been cleared to return to the ring, with his return match taking place at WrestleMania 42 against GUNTHER after GUNTHER attacked Rollins last week on Raw.
Rollins suffered a shoulder injury back at WWE Crown Jewel in October during his match with Cody Rhodes, which led to WWE pulling the trigger on a break up between he and The Vision.
Rollins was set for a clash with Bron Breakker at WrestleMania following his return, but Breakker was sidelined with a hernia, leading to the change to GUNTHER.
Seth Rollins Reflects On He & GUNTHER’s WWE Success
Speaking on the Rich Eisen Show, Rollins reflected on he and GUNTHER’s rise in the company, saying:
“He’s the real deal that guy, like there’s no joke there, he’s legitimate, you watch his body of work. This is a guy I’ve known since he was WALTER in his wXw days in Germany, I crossed paths with him.
“He’s one of those guys that, we have something very similar in that we came from kind of nowhere, no-one really thought we were gonna be huge major stars in the industry when we were young cats, and now we’re at a point where here we are at WrestleMania, the Grandest Stage, two of the most renowned in-ring performers the last two decades.
“This will be our first real go at it. We’ve had one in-ring encounter which was like seven years ago and this will be an interesting test, especially for my first match back.”

The Very Best Seth Rollins Coming To WrestleMania 42
Rollins continued on, saying that he plans to bring the ‘very best version’ of Seth Rollins to WrestleMania.
He said:
“I’m not going to make any predictions as far as outcome is concerned, what I will predict is that I will put on a show, because it’s WrestleMania and that is what I do.
“So if anybody out there is wondering what version of Seth Rollins we’re gonna get, I promise you right now, I will look you dead in the eye, you are going to get the very best version, the WrestleMania version of Seth Rollins that you know and are accustomed to, I will bring everything I have got in Las Vegas.”
