A new Roman Reigns WWE TV appearance has been announced, with Reigns set to appear on an upcoming episode of Raw.
There has been a lot of speculation about Reigns’ in-ring future following SummerSlam, with there previously being speculation that he’d be taking time away from WWE for other projects.
While some fans theorised that his beat-down on the August 4 edition of WWE Raw was to write him off TV, Reigns has now been confirmed for another Raw taping later this month.
The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia has announced that Roman Reigns will be at the August 18 Raw show.
Wells Fargo Center shared the following announcement on Twitter:
THIS JUST IN: Roman Reigns to appear at Monday Night RAW in Philly on 8/18!
Roman Reigns is now in the featured image for WWE’s website page for the show, and is listed as one of six “Featured Superstars” advertised for the event.
Other featured stars include Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso, Kofi Kingston and Penta.
There had been some speculation about Reigns potentially having to be absent from WWE TV to film for the new Street Fighter movie, with the WWE star set to play Akuma.
It has since been reported that production on this movie is planned to begin on September 2, and that Reigns’ commitments on the movie are due to wrap the week of September 26.
