Roman Reigns has sent a final message ahead of his return at today’s WWE Royal Rumble 2026 premium live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
With his last appearance being back at November’s WWE Survivor Series, Roman Reigns will make his return during the Men’s Royal Rumble – with “The OTC” being announced for the match during the January 23 episode of SmackDown.
Confidently taking to Twitter ahead of his big Royal Rumble return, Reigns teased a landscape-changing result, writing:
Tonight, we change the game. Again.
#RoyalRumble
While he hasn’t won the Royal Rumble Match since 2015, Reigns has been the frontrunner to earn the victory with many betting sites throughout the build to today’s event.
Despite having one Rumble win to his name, Reigns has finished as the runner-up in Royal Rumble Matches more than any other WWE star in history – finishing in second place in 2014, 2017, 2018 and 2020.
There had been reports that Roman Reigns was planned to take on Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42, however, plans for the Undisputed WWE Championship picture were said to have changed following Drew McIntyre winning the gold on the January 9 episode of SmackDown.
Tonight, we change the game. Again. #RoyalRumble ☝🏽
