Tonight’s WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event kicked off the women’s Chamber match to determine Jade Cargill’s challenger for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania.
Competing in the match were Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Rhea Ripley, Kiana James, Raquel Rodriguez and Tiffany Stratton.
You can see a full recap of the order of entrants and eliminations at this link, but the story is that Ripley scored the win.
The final two came down to Ripley and Stratton, and it was Ripley who picked up the win after landing her Riptide finisher.
Therefore, it’s now confirmed that Rhea Ripley will challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42.
On SmackDown the night before Elimination Chamber, Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship to the team of Lash Legend and Nia Jax, collectively known as the Irresistible Forces.
This marks the seventh straight year Ripley has been on the WrestleMania card, having been in a championship match on every occasion, with six of those being for singles championships.
