Rhea Ripley Addresses Criticism Of WWE Stinkface Spot

Former WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has fired back at criticisms surrounding her Stinkface spots at live events earlier this year.

Ripley channeled her inner Rikishi in March, when she “attacked” Nia Jax with a Stinkface at a house show.

A video of this moment naturally went viral, as well as a video from the next night’s live event, during which Shayna Baszler volunteered to take the move.

Speaking on Ring The Belle, Ripley addressed criticisms of the spot, noting:

“Shut up. Shut up. Honestly, like, it’s real funny because I get criticism for every single little thing that I do. But you see the men doing this and you’re like, yeah, that looks cool, amazing.

“Tiffany Stratton does this the other week and they’re like, oh my god, I love you, Tiffany. Oh my God, you’re so sexy, please do that to me. But when I do it, there’s a problem? Why? You’re just mad that I’m popular, that’s why.”

An update has emerged on a new name for the current iteration of the Judgment Day, following Ripley and Damian Priest being kicked from the group.
