Rey Fenix has reacted to his brother Penta winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship on this past Monday’s episode of Raw.
Penta defeated Dominik Mysterio to win his first championship since joining WWE in January 2025 – the IC Title.
Now, his younger brother SmackDown star Rey Fenix has taken to social media to congratulate Penta, as well as teasing an interesting proposition.
Fenix wrote (section in bold translated from Spanish via Google Translate):
Congratulations, my cool brother! ❤️ No one deserves this award more than you!
Your discipline and love for this sport will bring you so much more than this. I’m so proud to be your brother.
Congrats brother, you will always be my favorite luchador, i love you
I miss sharing the ring with you, but now I think; would it be good to relive old times?
Fenix and Penta were set for a tag team reunion in AAA at the end of 2025 for a match against Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano, but an injury to Penta at the time led to Fenix teaming with WWE Hall of Fame Rey Mysterio instead.
