Rey Fenix makes his WWE debut on Friday April 4, 2025, and his first feud has reportedly been revealed ahead of the show.
Recently, it was reported that a segment was dropped from an episode of WWE SmackDown that would have seen Nick Aldis tell Andrade that he wanted him to work with new talent.
This strongly hinted that Andrade would be working with Rey Fenix for his WWE debut feud, although no reason was given as to why the segment was dropped from SmackDown.
Dave Meltzer in latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has now corroborated the story and provided further details, writing:
Wrestlevotes said that a few weeks ago there was a segment scheduled for Smackdown that was to start the build for Andrade vs. Fenix, but it was cut from the show.
We’ve confirmed that story is accurate and that as of right now, Andrade vs. Fenix is planned as Fenix’s first program.
Andrade and Charlotte Flair divorced in 2024, with the former WWE Women’s Champion discussing this for the first time recently.
