A popular WWE star may potentially be set to move to SmackDown amid the ongoing WWE ‘transfer window’ between brands.
WWE recently announced the start of a new ‘transfer window’, which will allow numerous names to move between Raw, SmackDown and NXT in the coming weeks.
The first official transfer was confirmed on SmackDown two weeks ago, when Braun Strowman was revealed as the newest SmackDown star, defeating Carmelo Hayes in short order.
Over the last two weeks, numerous names have appeared on other shows, teasing potential switches in the window, including Chad Gable and American Made, the Bloodline and World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.
On tonight’s show, Sami Zayn appeared in a backstage segment with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, telling him that they needed to talk.
Sami later explained that he was on SmackDown due to the Bloodline showing up on Raw, and he wanted his chance to get back at them, before he was interrupted by Carmelo Hayes, with a match between Sami and Hayes being set up for later tonight.
