Oba Femi has revealed his future goals in WWE, having been called up to the main roster earlier this year.
A former two-time NXT Champion, Oba Femi made his main roster debut last year, facing Cody Rhodes at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in December.
He would head to the main roster in early 2026, entering the men’s Royal Rumble match and teasing a possible program with Brock Lesnar, who would eliminate The Ruler.
Having held championships in NXT, Femi was recently asked about his goals in WWE during an appearance on What’s Your Story? With Stephanie McMahon, saying:
“I want to wrestle. I want to be remembered in wrestling. I remember watching wrestling and feeling strongly about, whether it was this superstar or this storyline, that I was invested to a very high degree. And I want people to watch my work and feel the exact same way.
“I basically want to give people back the experience I got from watching wrestling. That’s my big thing. And that’s one of the pros of being a fan coming into this sport, you know what you want to give back.
“It’s funny, but since day one that I walked into NXT, I knew that I wanted to sound real, I wanted to be real, I want to make people feel things, I want to give and then take it away. I want them to go on that ride with me. That’s what I want to do in wrestling.
“Championships and conquests are going to come, The Ruler is The Ruler, but I think that is my big takeaway. When I’m done, I want people to feel Oba Femi.”

Femi will head to WrestleMania 42 in April to potentially give fans that very moment as he faces Brock Lesnar, with Tommy Dreamer declaring the match is a “great way to sell some tickets“.
During the interview, Femi would also reflect on the pressures he feels as a WWE star and how he handles those.
The Rise Of The Ruler
Standing at 6ft 6in in height, Oba Femi has shown that he is much more than a 310lb powerhouse, having recently had some fun moments with Kit Wilson, revolving around poetry and an eventual squash match on SmackDown.
Indeed, the recent interview with Stephanie McMahon would further demonstrate Femi’s lighthearted nature as he taught the former WWE executive how to do his entrance strut, as can be seen on Twitter.
Femi would also reveal how he uses humor during the appearance on What’s Your Story? and share the story of how a referee put him at ease early in his career.
Definitely on the big man side of WWE, Femi has revealed that Ivar of The War Raiders and Performance Center head trainer Matt Bloom are among his mentors.
There’s little doubt that Femi has all the potential to be a top star on the WWE main roster, bringing together his creative mindset, imposing presence, and ability to bring humor to his performance in just the right amount when it is needed.
