Oba Femi has opened up on a potential WWE match with Brock Lesnar following their face off in the Royal Rumble match.
Since Brock Lesnar’s return to WWE at SummerSlam 2025, many fans have been pitching a potential match between him and Oba Femi, dating back to Oba’s time in NXT.
The two would go face to face for the first time in the Royal Rumble match, which would end with Oba being dumped from the match by Lesnar.
Speaking to Denise Salcedo at WWE 2K26 CreatorFest, Oba was asked about a potential match between himself and Brock.
He said:
“The demand is here. The demand is here, all we have to do is put it out there. Hopefully it happens, even if it’s not this year, when it does happen, we know it’s going to be phenomenal
“I don’t know if it’s going to be his last one, I don’t know how much he has left in the tank, but I know he has one more left for Oba Femi for sure.
“It’s going to mean a lot to me, I grew up watching him. I wouldn’t call him a role model or anything like that, but he’s a very big inspiration behind my character. Brock means a lot to the industry, and it’s going to mean a lot to me when I get to face him.”
