Several NXT stars are reportedly present backstage at tonight’s WWE Raw at New York City’s Madison Square Garden (March 10).
With five weeks remaining until WrestleMania 41, Raw returns to ‘The World’s Most Famous Arena’ for Raw, one night before the stars of NXT compete at The Theater at Madison Square Garden for WWE Roadblock.
According to PWInsiderElite several NXT stars, including Je’Von Evans are backstage at tonight’s Raw.
As well as the NXT talents, competitors from WWE LFG and coaches also flew into New York City today.
Considering WWE Roadblock is being held at The Theater at MSG tomorrow the NXT talents being backstage at Raw doesn’t necessarily mean WWE are planning to feature them on the Raw broadcast, as they would have always been travelling into NYC for that show regardless.
Tonight’s Raw is headlined by a Steel Cage match between CM Punk and Seth Rollins, while appearances from Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and new Women’s World Champion IYO SKY have also been confirmed.
As for WWE Roadblock, that show is expected to be headlined by the big title for title winner takes all match between NXT Women’s Champion Giulia and Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer.
Elsewhere TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz defend their titles against Nathan Frazer and Axiom, while TNA X-Division Champion Moose challenges Oba Femi for his NXT Championship.
Evans himself will be in action in a street fight against Ethan Page.
