Rhea Ripley has broken character to respond to a WWE star after they recently fired shots at her on social media.
At WWE Elimination Chamber, Rhea Ripley was victorious in the show’s opening match to earn a shot at Jade Cargill’s WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42.
Following the show, Jade took some shots at Rhea on social media, which included a back and forth with Rhea herself.
In that back and forth, Jade made reference to Rhea ‘talking to creative’, saying:
Talk??? Like the hours you spend talking to creative?
The fourth wall breaking shot got a lot of traction on social media, which led to speculation about whether the comments were part of a ‘worked shoot’ style angle between the two.
Taking to her Instagram, Rhea responded to Jade’s comments, noting
Not having fun. Not friends.
Learn to work and never lie to defame someone’s real human character by “breaking the 4th wall”
Ripley has since deleted her post.
Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill is the second confirmed women’s championship match after Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan chose to face Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship on the show.
