The new number one contenders to the Bloodline and their WWE Tag Team Championship were revealed on tonight’s SmackDown.
On tonight’s WWE SmackDown, a tag team match determined who would go on to face the Bloodline for the WWE Tag Team Championship next week.
With two former champions looking to get back at the Bloodline, DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) took on The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) after they both won their qualifiers last week.
In the end, the Street Profits picked up the victory and will move on to try their hand at tackling the Bloodline.
Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford will face off against the Bloodline on next week’s episode.
Specifically in the graphic for the match as the defending Bloodline members were Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga.
Fatu had been away from WWE TV since SummerSlam, with rumors that he’d suffered an injury, although there were reports that he was always planned to be off TV for that period.
He returned tonight during the closing segment, getting the Ula Fala back from Reigns on behalf of Solo Sikoa after Reigns had taken it from Sikoa.
Also announced for next week’s SmackDown in Washington, DC – Naomi, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair will reunite to take on Blair Davenport, Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre.
Also the Untied States Championship will be defended as LA Knight puts his title on the line against Santos Escobar.
