The latest update has emerged on some new WWE stars who will be making their TV debuts in the coming weeks.
The second season of WWE LFG has been ongoing over the past few weeks, with the men’s and women’s winners set to debut on NXT after the show airs, like Jasper Troy and Tyra Mae Steele did after they won season one.
The latest LFG episode was the semi-final round, meaning the finalists have now been revealed – well, three of the four.
Firstly, the women’s semi-finals came down to Zena Sterling vs Penina Tuilaepa, and Sirena Linton vs Dani Sekelsky.
The coaches/judges – The Undertaker, Michelle McCool, Bubba Ray Dudley and Booker T – voted Tuilaepa and Sekelsky through to the finals, so one of them will be debuting on NXT TV in the near future.
As for the men, the semi-finals were Anthony Luke vs Shiloh Hill, and Drake Morreaux vs Harlem Lewis.
The first semi-final saw Shiloh Hill advance to the finals, but we don’t yet have an answer in regards to Morreaux vs Lewis.
The coaches were tied at 2-2 with their votes for each, so the next LFG episode will open with Shawn Michaels deciding which one of Morreaux and Lewis goes through to the finals with Hill.
The story of LFG is that the winner earns an NXT contract – in reality, all the talents on the show already have NXT contracts, and already work untelevised live events and Evolve – but the idea is the winners will debut on NXT TV sooner than the others.
LFG is taped plenty of time in advance, and Harlem Lewis is actually currently in Japan with Charlie Dempsey working in Pro Wrestling NOAH.
