The official in-ring debut for a new WWE faction has been confirmed, and it’s coming up in under a week’s time.
At NXT Vengeance Day in February, a new faction debuted and attacked NXT Champion Oba Femi.
The group was made up of NXT star Dion Lennox along with three names who had yet to debut on NXT TV – Cutler James, Saquon Shugars and Osiris Griffin.
Over the past few weeks, the group has continued to attack numerous top stars in NXT, including Fraxiom, Je’Von Evans and Trick Williams.
It was recently revealed that the faction’s name is Darkstate, and they’ll officially be debuting in a match on April 8.
Last night (April 1), the group appeared and attacked all three participants in the NXT Championship three-way match at WWE Stand & Deliver – current champion Oba Femi, Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans.
It was later announced that next week will play host to a six-man tag match with Femi, Williams and Evans teaming up against three members of Darkstate.
It wasn’t confirmed which three members will be in the match as General Manager Ava said Darkstate can decide that themselves. The only one who wouldn’t be in his NXT TV debut outing if he’s in the match would be Lennox.
