The apparent new leader of Seth Rollins’ WWE faction has been revealed on Raw amid his absence due to injury.
The past few months post-WrestleMania saw Rollins and Paul Heyman assemble a new group around them, consisting of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
However, as of Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12, the momentum of the new group appeared to be derailed when Rollins went down with an injury in his match against LA Knight.
Rollins has been off TV since then and there doesn’t seem to be a known timetable for his return.
Heyman, Breakker and Reed have continued as a unit in Rollins’ absence, and tonight they addressed the lack of a “leader”.
Backstage, Heyman was talking to Reed and said that Jey Uso and Roman Reigns think the faction is now “nothing more than just a group without a leader”.
Breakker then walked into the picture and proclaimed: “Which we now have”.
Breakker then proceeded to give Reed a pep talk ahead of his match against Uso tonight and their tag match against Uso and Reigns at WWE SummerSlam this weekend.
He also then told Heyman, “I have a plan”.
Therefore, it seems that Breakker has at least taken it upon himself to take on the role of leader of the group while Seth Rollins is away.
