WWE star Matt Cardona has named who he’d want to induct him into the Hall of Fame if he was to receive this honor in the future.
With Cardona just one world title win shy of being a WWE Grand Slam Champion, the former “Zack Ryder” is definitely a name who could join the company’s Hall of Fame following his retirement.
Matt Cardona has revealed in a new video who he’d have introduce him at the Hall of Fame ceremony.
Naming two stars besides his wife, Chelsea Green, Cardona said:
“If I were to ever go into the Hall of Fame, who would I want to induct me? I would say Chelsea, but like, she would have to Google my career.
“It has to be (Brian Myers, fka Curt Hawkins), I think, or (Dolph) Ziggler, who would just roast me the entire time.
“I think they both would roast me, but Ziggler’s a professional comedian, so yeah. Myers or Ziggler.

First sharing the ring together in 2024, Cardona and Myers have held tag-team gold together in numerous promotions.
The duo notably held the WWE tag-team titles twice together, first winning the WWE Tag Team Championship at The Great American Bash 2008, and later ending Myers’ losing streak at WrestleMania 35 with a Raw Tag Team Championship victory.
Cardona and Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler) have shared the ring numerous times as both friends and foes. Both stars notably returned to WWE in late-2025 to compete in John Cena’s Last Time is Now tournament, ahead of Cardona’s official return this past January.
