WWE stars Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan has commented on the chemistry between herself and Rhea Ripley on WWE TV throughout their partnerships and feuds.

Morgan and Ripley have been both tag team partners and rivals over the past few years, with all their work together generally popular among fans.

They’ve been WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions together, and more recently feuded over the Women’s World Title.

In a new interview with Esteban Ramirez, Liv Morgan explained why she and Ripley have the chemistry that they do, and recalls giving Ripley her locker when she was called up to the WWE main roster.

Morgan said:

“Rhea and I have quite a bit of lore. I remember back in the Performance Center when I saw her, I knew that she was gonna be a star. It was just very evident to me.

“So when I had gotten called up to the main roster, I had left Rhea my locker. I told her, ‘You can have my locker, you can move your stuff into my locker.’ She didn’t even have a locker yet.

“Then she gets called up to the main roster, has tons of success, we get put into a tag team where we have so much chemistry. We tag for a while, and then she turned on me, joined the Judgment Day, injured me.

“I came back on the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour and took everything that she loved including Dominik, the Judgment Day and the Women’s World Championship.

“So I feel like we are both the heroes and villians in each other’s stories. She is the Batman to my Joker, and I am the villain in her hero’s story, and she is the viliain in my hero’s story.”

Future Women’s WrestleMania Main Event

There has been a lot of talk especially this year about the lack of women’s WrestleMania main events –  there hasn’t been one since Sasha Banks vs Bianca Belair in 2021.

If WWE circles back around to a Rhea Ripley vs Liv Morgan feud in the future, there’s no doubt it’s a Mania main event level match as far as star power.

Perhaps this year was too soon after they’d been going at it for so long over the past couple of years, but coming back around to it after a break could be the move.
