Liv Morgan has officially chosen her opponent for the upcoming WWE WrestleMania 42 event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
On January 31, Morgan won the women’s Royal Rumble match to earn the right to decide which champion she wanted to challenge at WrestleMania.
She had the choice between Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer and WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill.
Morgan made her choice on tonight’s Raw in Atlanta, Georgia, confirming she will be challenging Vaquer at Mania for the Women’s World Title.
Morgan is a former Women’s World Champion, having held the title for 226 days from May 2024 when she won it from Becky Lynch to January 2025 when she dropped it to Rhea Ripley.
That means it’s also confirmed that the winner of this weekend’s women’s Elimination Chamber match will challenge Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at Mania.
On the men’s side of things, Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns confirmed that he’d be challenging World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk in the WrestleMania main event.
That means the winner of the men’s Chamber match will challenge Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania.
